Trigger warning, in remembrance to one ending their own life and losing their battle.
When it softly rains
I can’t help but think, what gentle soul died today
How all their pain has been released, how it is now washed away
As they lay there in peace, I can’t help my heart as it feels a heavy weigh Black and white image morphed together and all I can see is gray
You are gone but as long as I am alive your memory will always stay
Rest easy gentle soul
I hope we can do better as humans one day
