What can’t a walk in a rainstorm solve?
Pitter patter on pavement
Gutters gurgling away
Huge drops on your head
Trees trembling with delight
Fast-footed splashes
Without getting wet
Shoes you can submerge and
Watch the water wrap
Soon you are smiling
While wondering why
Dampness descends your pants
Your coat can’t take much more
But a calmness covers you
And turbid thoughts have cleared
You’ve been graced with the gentleness
Of a spring rainstorm spell.
